my check engine light was off put bar's 2part formula trans stop leak and slip in (had a leak fixed it jb weld just thought might help seal inside was hairline crack) now check engine light is flashing did this hurt my trans or is this maybe a differant code that has poped up

Can you read the code? Doubt the Bars did anything that could result in a code, but poking around under the trans you might have disturbed a crusty old wiring harness and are now missing a sensor signal or some such. How is the tranny operation, shifting okay?

So there was no light on added the stuff from the top of the truck no change in transmission working fine was worried about a small leak now the light is on going to get it coded today maybe it's something else
