Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi
I just bought the 2015 Jetta TDI on Sunday
night but had to take it back the next day
because of a loud noise coming from the
engine.  They repaired it by replacing 2
bolts.
Now after driving around town, the fan
stays on after I shut the engine off. EVERY
time. It stays on for about 5 minutes.
It's brand new 47 miles now. It came off the
truck and had 5 miles on it.
The sales man said it's normal but the
service depth wants to see it.
I read other post about the fan burning the
soot off but how much soot would a brand
new car have?
I am at the point where I don't want this car.
Sorry it's winded but I am so confused
about this car.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

What the other guy was saying is your a sucker for beliving something about soot. Take the car back to the vw dealership tell them your unsatisifed with the car and see if they will swap it for anouther. Its early enough in that the car most likely will get traded for anouther new one. If you don't get a new car try making a formal complaint that you were given a defective vehicle and demand a properly working one that has all the parts actully attached to it. and if that don't work just get them to fix the car at the dealer properly from the service techs But make sure you demand a full car diagnosis and have them check the entire car out because you are afraid it may have other defetive parts installed in it or that there may be other missing parts else where in the vehcile that should other wise be there.
