I have a 2001 ford escape I had two codes show up on my obdII reader one for the iac valve and one for a misfire in cylinder #4 I read on the computer the misfire was caused by the iac valve!!!! yeah right!! the misfre is still ther on cylinder #4 what else can it be the only thing the car/truck does is buck a littlte (idle runs little low )and I can feel it in the car mainly at a stop or comming to a stop.does anyone have a clue what can be wrong besides its a ford!!!

Idle Air Control Valve. That can cause lots of problems, does not mean it's related to #4 misfire.
