2001 escape. Positive battery terminal constantly has powdwer buildup

my escape every 2 months has a bunch of white/blue powder on it

take off clean again apply grease local Canadian tire has grease designed for battery terminals and a old trick I learned is use a little silicone to glue a few pennies to top of the battery don't know how it works but it does
