Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The out door temp sensor reads 10 to 136 degreesF when it is actually in the 20's. I saw Err in the display a few times and figure a wire or connection has failed. I need to know how to test the sensor and wiring to know if it is the actual sensor or the wiring going to it. The actual sensor is on the passenger side behind the bumper in an opening. But how are the wires routed and where to they connect? Do they go through a computer controller? The van has 302,000 miles and other wise runs great.

The actual sensor had failed. I replaced it and evrything is fine. It was much simplier than I expected. It just unpluged and I had assumed there was a long cable that routed back to teh computer or something. I was wrong. It was also quite inexpensive to replace it.
