Car damage problem

Question type: General

Bought a car, later had a problem with water
in the trunk.  I got into accident someone hit
me, when I brought it to be repaired they
found a lot of damage.  I went and got a car
fax and found the car was bought from an
auction in pretty bad shape.  They did patch
work fixes and sold it to me.   Is there
anything I can do or is to bad for me?

This is why you buy a CarFax first. I doubt you have recourse unless you have something in writing stating the car was never in an accident. Is the title branded as salvage?
