when I turn on my turn signal on in my 1997 gmc jimmy the fuel gauge jumps what causes this?

I have the 1997 SLE , and if your talking about how it kinda bounces maybe like 1/4th or 1/2 an inch... its the Ground wires, there are 6 grounds under the hood. 1 by the antenna, 2 by battery, 1 on the firewall towards left side, 1 on the right side by washer fluid box, and also 1 under the air filter box. I had all of them cleaned, and once i found the 1 under air filter box, and cleaned it, i haven't seen the fuel gauge bounce since.
