why is it no mechanic can fix antifreeze leak on a 2015 for taurus

my son has taken his 2015 ford taurus to various mechanics that say they can
fix antifreeze leak but after taking car in, they say they can't fix it. One place in
particular trying to replace a lot of parts instead of going to the problem. It's
hard to find right mechanic. Even dealership said they can't fix it.

If everyone is saying that it can’t be fixed then there must be something basically wrong with the vehicle. Taurus’s are extinct vehicles and rightly so. Taurus vehicles are know for cooling system problems, like blown head gaskets, warped and or cracked cylinder heads, freeze plug issues including those between the engine and transmission, heater cores, water pumps and even radiators. Sounds like it’s time to off load it.
Well, then, by all means, ask people who can't even see the car..... It might be that the leak is internal and they just don't want to tell you that you need a new engine. Or maybe they just want enough to make their next boat payment.
There's a difference between can't and won't. Where is it leaking? If it's an internal leak from a head gasket, cracked or warped head most shops won't want to be bothered with it. That scenario is a major repair and is very expensive. Probably not worth it on an 8 year old vehicle especially if it has a lot of miles on it. The Dealer surely won't want to be bothered with it!
