Loud beeping when I start car

Asked by GuruVB3Y Apr 05, 2017 at 11:45 AM about the 2015 Hyundai Elantra Limited FWD

Question type: General

Hello. I purchased my vehicle about a month ago
and this morning when I started my car there was
a loud beeping sound that lasted about 20
seconds. The same exact thing happened the next
time I started the engine about an hour later. There
aren't any warning lights on the dashboard that are
on so I'm not sure what's causing the beeping. The
beeping isn't the warning sound due to not having
your seatbelt on so I'm not sure what this could be.
Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks

My car is doing the same thing. I bought it March 11th. I hit a big bump 2 days ago. But no warning lights and not seat belt warning. I'm trying to figure it out also

Man!!! My 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe just did this too! I have had it for a min and I have never heard this noise. It’s a loud piercing beeping sound and is not the door beeping that everyone is used to and that many keep suggesting.

2011 Hyundai Tucson same problem and we won't talk about how much Hyundai wanted to charge me to figure out what it was when so many are having a problem they already know.
