19987 GMC JIMMY 4 wheel drive

Asked by lolivefish Dec 20, 2014 at 02:29 PM about the 1998 GMC Jimmy 4 Dr SLE 4WD SUV

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have replaced the vacuum switch (which was bad)...the actuator is fine and there is no vacuum leaks...the control module is good...What's next?  I am just enough mechanically inclined to be an idiot!  Any help is appreciated.

I changed encoder motor on side of transfer case works perfect now 50 bucks at scrap yard
