2015 nissan versa sv won't accelerate when its in drive or reverse

Car starts fine put it in reverse or drive press the gas won't go neutral
press gas it revs just fine and in park revs just fine

Your engine seems to be operating correctly and when you step on the gas pedal or try to shift into gear your transmission does not react. Or, Your car will not move in either reverse or forward. Possible Cause: Automatic: Check transmission fluid levels.
