Has anybody had any problems with their GPS?

Asked by 1stSubaru Jan 13, 2016 at 08:03 PM about the 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5i Touring

Question type: General

I purchased Sirius traffic and periodically traffic will show up but generally if it does, it's only for the major roadways.

I am pretty sure that traffic warnings are only on roads where there is traffic monitoring from state run traffic sensors and cameras. Minor roads won't have any data to report.

Out of the blue my 2015 Legacy NAV is now 50 to 100 feet off. Fought like a rabid dog with Subaru and they agreed to install a new head unit and antenna. With the work done it's still off by the same amount. They told me that "spec" is withing 300 feet...seems like it's time to dump Subaru and buy a real car. Missing every highway exit by 300 feet does not seem like something I should pay for. Thank GOD it's a lease and not something I own. Counting the days til 12/9 when I can hand back the keys to this hunk of crap car.

I am now in my 4th Forester and like everything except the crappy GPS. My simple samsung smart phone is much better. If i ever get another Subaru it will not be with GPS> my simple Garman dash top of bygone years was much better. Wake up Subaru!
