with your remote keyless entry, click the "lock" button twice- you should get a horn chirp in return and then your alarm is set- when you unlock it with the remote, it shuts off the alarm.

In fact I just. Tested alarm last week by opening back. Door manually. I had double click locked it horn blew twice. Couple hours later I was in position where could hear everything thrust a vent back wall my horn sounded. One time I went out they were in my ride tearing it apart. No visible damage ???
