Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2000 Yukon. When I hit the gas
pedal hard seems to bog down for a
second then it's fine. I've change the fuel
filter plugs and wires and I've also
decarbonize the engine. Seems to run a
little sharper since I did that but still
bogging down when I hit the gas pedal
hard please help

Have it read for codes, even if the check engine light is NOT on the computer will have stored information and codes. Discount auto stores will read codes for no fee. Write them down. How many miles on it?

Had same problem the transmission shift solinoid was bad. Easy fix it is mounted on the outside of trans. Transmission shift cable goes to it and a electrical connector.

Thank you autocentric for the swift response. I have had the codes read and the only thing that it showed was the oxygen sensor and I have that changed. Then I have a Catalytic converter changed also.
