Question type: General

is anyone else experiencing neck pain due to the headrest tilted so forward??  I am and I been on several forums were people complain about it.  Does anyone knows if there is a recall in progress for this issue????  I love the car but it is literally painful to drive it!!

My wife and I agree with you, but I doubt you will see any change or find it better in other cars. Thank the US Govt! See this Forbes article. http://www.forbes.com/sites/jimgorzelany/2011/10/12/headrests-at- the-top-of-car-seat-problems/

I bought a 2018 Mazda 3 on Tuesday, May 1st. I am in so much pain, I can hardly stand to drive my new car. Today is the 11th of May.

I have the same problem with my wife’s 2014 Mazda 6. The headrest is tilted too far forward. I’ve tried adding a after market pad to fill in gap between the headrest and the top of the seat with minor comfort. I avoid driving in this car. Sad, will be selling As soon as possible

I have exactly the same problem with my Mazda 6. I solved it by bending the poles of the headrests. Here is how it was done: https://www.instructables.com/id/Adjusting-the-Tilt-of-Car-Headrests/

Mazda 6 ,I have same problem right side neck and shoulder pain. But I removed head rest and adjusted steering wheel maximum down and steering also hard to rotate.I started driving before 3 three years. I feel start pain after 2.5 years. The Head rest affecting minorly our head resist to move backward and it is making our head forward posture only. The neck bones balancing this..Finally we will get pain by neck bones lost original position. It is called text neck.
