Chevy spark key reprogram

I’ve got a 2015 Chevy Spark EV that doesn’t seem to recognize either remote
anymore, and also thinks they’re still in the car when we turn it off, close the
door, and walk away. I’m trying to reprogram the remotes, but the DIC doesn’t
show anything when I follow the steps in the manual. Ideas?

I have a 2014 Chevy Spark EV, and I have still yet to find a way online to program it myself. According to what I've researched, a lot of people have had no luck based on the instructions in the owner's manual.
