Negotiating for Brand New vehicle, after being sold an unsafe vehicle

Hello, Everyone. Less than a week a go I purchased my first vehicle. It is a
used 2015 Chrysler 200s with less than 25,000 mi on it. It's been less than
a week, and I have lots of problems with this vehicle, after being assured
that there was nothing wrong with it. it has been back to the dealership
twice. it has died on me in the middle of the highway,almost causing me to
crash, and there's a faint burning smell, etc. My dealership says there's
nothing wrong with it, they have been extremely rude to me and have acted
like my problems are an inconvenience and trying to convince me to drive
an unsafe vehicle, while they find the time to meet with me. i want to know
if I am able to negotiate a brand new vehicle (2016 Chevy Malibu 2nd
generation $23,000 w/o tax). The Chrysler is $18,000 w/o tax.
