Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Why  is GMC not recalling these  cars for repair . I
recently  paid over 700.00 dollars to have my right
tail light fixed , now the left one is out. They have to
know there is a problem  this was my dream car ,
but I wish I have never gotten it now, who want to
keeping paying out money like this just for a tail
light

There is a phone number for You to call in order to report safety defects, You can ask them about recall possibilities. The number is on the last page of your owners manual, I hope this helps You.

The brake light thing is a huge pain in the @ss! Check out yukontaillightrepair.com, I got both done for $278...no chance in hell I was giving GMC another 1400 for a pair of the same crap.

2015 yukon with same problem, but both my brake lights stopped at once. 55 miles. what a piece of crap for an otherwise great car. At the same time my radiator started leaking and my AC condensor started leaking as well. Had to have both of those replaced. Brake lights are a safety issue. Why doesn't GM do something about this? what a crappy company!

I got quoted around $800 at the dealer! I got mine done at yukontaillights.com. call them up, if no answer just leave a message. Guy is really quick to respond. He helps you out. Even goes as far to text photos and progress. Explains everything
