If I have a faulty crank shaft sensor what symptoms would be going on with my 02 gmc Sonoma?

Seems to fire fine, got good fuel pump pressure. Truck will not crank.

Your question is the sign of bad crank sensor,you have fire and fuel,but the crank sensor tell,s the ECM when to fire and has to be in time,if bad won,t know when to fire or give fuel correctly.

One other thing to check all so,would be the timeing.

How do I check the cank sensor? Could the rotary button be bad?

It gets fire from the coil to the distributer. It's not getting any fire from the distributer capvto the plugs. Does that make sense?

I have a 2002 GMC Sonoma truck when I drive it it speeds up good when I slow down it started jerking let you want to skip what is my problem please
