2002Chevy Trailblazer cranks but won't start.

I can't afford to keep guesing. Car code
reader told me a misfire on 3 and something
to do with P014 . Replaced spark plugs won't
turn on even being jumped. Battery was
bought few months ago could it be
electrical? Someone please help I can not
afford to take it to lame mechanics and I
need it to run. Thanks

To be clear, does the engine turn over but does not start? If so have you checked for spark?

What kind of OBD2 are you using, if you have a misfire on cyl#3 it should be throwing a random misfire code too....id check for spark on all cyl. and then check your fuel pressure, if those come up good, start checking sensors.
