Can I leave my car running without the fob

Okay, my boyfriend and I are going on
vacation with our dog for our anniversary. I
have a 2014 a push start. If I went to a
restaurant, left the car on with the dog inside
and cold air blowing, could I lock the doors
and take my key fob inside with me, or would
the car turn itself off?

Try it out before you leave Fido in the car. Maybe a second set of keys could make it work. Try it!

I wouldn't do that. The way people are today somebody's bound to call the police! Besides that if something goes wrong and the air conditioning stops working, you wouldn't know it until it was too late. Jim

I agree with JS. Eat at sidewalk cafes where you can tie up your dog next to your table.
