Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check engine light is on...code said need to replace the catalytic converter.
Where is it located? It's a v8 triton STL 2wd.

Could a possible electrical fuse make that code pop up!? There are no engine miss fires, the exhaust is not loud, the engine doesn't leak any fluids, the car drives really smooth actually.

I'm going to have someone diagnose it and probably do some work myself. I can't do the catalytic converter myself but spark plugs I can. Things I don't have to weld and/or use a lift for.
