would the car never be the same after the repair?

Asked by vinceardi Dec 21, 2014 at 11:56 AM about the 2014 Nissan 370Z Touring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have just crashed my nissan 370z (bought 3 months ago), with driver side door smashed
and two side airbags deployed (front airbags remained intact) but the alignment of
windshield and front part engine remained unaffected at all. And the fixing costs 10000
with all the validation of new airbags assembly etc etc. May I know if the car will be able to
perform as the same level comparable to the original condition.

Cheers, Vincent.

This is a question that you should direct to a Nissan Service/Repair Tech or to someone on a Z online forum. It REALLY depends on how hard your Z was hit and if it affected the suspension or frame at all, IMO. I'm assuming the car is still under repair right now. I'd run these questions by the body shop doing the work. It's a shame this happened...I had a 350Z..can't imagine this sort of thing ever occurring....Good Luck with the Z in the future...it's an awesome car!

Thanks Racer_X.. yes the car has been fixed and gonna pick it up tommoz. I agreed that the suspension and frame can still be affected though the car alignment and frame looks intact except the driver side door smashed. And it is a awesome car .. I love it!!!
