2004 Gmc Envoy
Slt. I ran it out of
gas and now it
turns over but
won't stay
running. Yes I
put at least 3 gal
of gas in it

Running out of gas is not good. The fuel pump needs gas to cool it down during operation. Your fuel pump could be toast, have it checked out.
