2004 envoy transmission oil pump broken

after passing a hump the car stops pulling, tried all forward gears and reverse but nothing happens, i open the transmission and found the oil pump broken

I was towing a car with my 03 slt 4x4 envoy rpms started shooting up stopped pulling forward gears and reverse stoppd working...oil pump maybe ...? Did you change the oil pump and did it fix your issue...? thanks
