why does my 2014 mkz jerks hard when acceleration

An engine jerks when accelerating usually because of dirty/clogged fuel injectors or clogged catalytic converters. It's possible that this is caused by a bad mass airflow sensor, as well. First, get OBD codes read, then clean the injectors and check the converters.
