Why won't my spare key work?

My husband has a 2003 trailblazer that he
lost the original key for. We have a spare set
of keys for the vehicle but they won't start the
car. Any help would be appreciated!

Most likely the spare key was never programmed to the vehicle or it's not a transponder key. If you have option code BAE you must have a transponder key that's programmed to the vehicle. Unfortunately you need a working key to program additional keys yourself. Without a working key you need to be towed to your local GM Dealer for programming! Hope that helps! Jim
