I say you need to asses several factors. First, the area/city where you drive, are the roads subject to having potholes year round? If so, I'd certainly would consider purchasing the insurance. Secondly, does the car have a spare or run flat tires? If the latter, get the insurance! Because you do not want to replace a tire at $200-$300 plus everytime you catch a nail or bend a wheel. Finally, I have an '08 e93 335i. I've literally saved thousands on whhels and tires because I opted to purchase the wheel and tire insurance. It just makes good sense plus its transferable if you decide to sell the car, etc. This is a no brainer. Good luck.
