what does residency restrictions mean on dealer incentives?

When buying a new car.  I want to use the dealer incentives, but it says residency
restrictions apply, see dealer.

You have to live with in the boundaries of a certain area. Like the lower 48 states for example. You couldn't finance the vehicle and ship it off to North Korea before you pay it off.

Often, manufacturers incentives vary by region. When a dealer searches what the available incentives are on a specific vehicle, typically they would enter the zip code where the vehicle will be registered (not where the dealership is located).

ITS IN THE ZIP CODE , THAT YOU LIVE, IS HOW THEY GIVE CERTAIN INCENTIVES, TO BOOST SALES OF CERTAIN MODELS, THAT ARE BELOW THERE ADV S AND YES YOU CAN GET A GOOD DEAL ,,
