Some vehicles had a button the shifter or center console to turn off the overdrive in certain types of driving conditions. What does your owners manual day. If you lost overdrive, you would need someone to diagnose the transmission, it could be something internal to the transmission requiring a rebuild or a Solenoid or switch. Is the check engine or service engine light on?
