Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I went to a dealer that advertised a 2014 Subaru Outback Limited(My Auto Imports in
Muskegon Michiga0 they advertised the price on your sight at $26500 but when I got
there after contacting them they brought me the price of $29831 and said that they don't
advertise on Cargurus.com, is there any thing that I can say to them? I showed them the
sight and the email sent to them and they said that they are "perplexed" as to how that
price would be on that car.  In addition, there are many of My Auto Import vehicles listed
on Cargurus.com.   Now the best price they are giving me is $28337 plus tax, title and
destination.  I understand that this price is still a good price and I am still confused by the
pricing difference.

Take that price and go to another Subaru dealership. Ask them to match it. You might be surprised.

If I were you, I'd just get a 2015 model, you're so close and Subaru is making deals on them now. They normally launch their cars in the summer, so, get a year end deal on the 2015. Also, go to Kelley Blue Book and see what they sell for with all of the options you want. There are a lot of options for this car. Even though it's a Limited, options like Eyesight, Navigation and others are additional. I have a 2010 Subaru Outback 2.5 Limited with the CVT transmission and love my car. So will you, great choice! And if I upgraded to the newer car I would definitely get the Eyesight option. In case you have taken a test drive in the Four cylinder vs the Six, you're likely to find like I did that the Four is perfectly fine for this car. I don't know about you but I don't need a speed demon and these cars are not built for racing. If I really wanted a super fast car I would have looked at the WRX STI. Good luck.
