How to remove a dead mouse from fan

Asked by thenderson01 Mar 21, 2022 at 02:42 PM about the 2014 Chevrolet Captiva Sport LS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a dead mouse in the fan that I can hear clicking every time I turn on the
fan.  Plus the car has a terrible smell.  I am hoping to see a video to show me
how to remove the fan and get him out of there

Are you talking about the coolant fan for the engine or the heater/AC fan for the interior? In either case, you will need to disassemble the fan assembly, get in there, and scrape that critter out.
