Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Changing the intake manifold on a 2005 Crown Vic. p71 I broke the EGR vent
pipe so While waiting for the part to arrive, I capped both ends off, Will this do
damage to the motor? It seems to have more balls without it, and why is the car
burning so much fuel ?

sound like it's a little more than a vent tube , put it back together best you can or don't drive it
