Ralph i am a ford technician, your problem could be low on freon to a wide open throttle relay being bad or a low or high pressure switch having an open in circuit,try and obtain a wiring schematic and trace down powers and grounds to system,hope this helps

Drove into water up to top of tires. Car stalled right away. Now won't crank at all. Starter is engaging but motor does nothing.
you sucked water into the intake could have possible locked up the motor or its hydrolocked with water pull the spark plugs crank it over and see if it spins free if it does reinstall the spark plugs and fire it up fingers crossed
