Will a 2001 Crown Vic transmission work for a 2003 Crown Vic? If so, easy to install?

Someone else said no because something wouldn't line up, but i'm not sure what they meant though

They will swap just fine. Easy if you have a hoist, transmission jack and air tools. A lot tougher on the ground. Straight forward job though. The cross-member can be a bear. Make sure to flush your transmission cooler.
