My 2000 crown Victoria with 243000 is have an electric issue

I'll be driving down the road with the lights on and
the I lose all interior lights and have to fight to get
them back on . I paid 1500 and everything was fine
I've had it for a week and all of a sudden its having
issues . I drive 56 miles a day . I'm trying to decide
whether to invest in keeping it or trade in for a new
car on finance.  I'm already over 300 additionally
into repairs

Get a light module from the junk yard. And make sure wires arent messed up under glove box. Mine were exposed but I retaped them and havent had a problem since. My lights would flash when I turned the car on and its not supposed too. Due too I have it in nighttime mode.
