My husband has 2003 ford the bird. It has not been
driven much in the last 2 months. He went to start
the car and the battery is dead. He connected the
battery charger and the car went nuts. Alarm went
off fans started running. Freaked my husband out
so he stopped charging. What is the problem

I think your Bird was giving you the bird. All I can suggest is make sure all battery connections are good, no frayed or loose terminals, etc. To make any other diagnosis would require more info or an inspection.
