Is this a sensor issue?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I took my car in yesterday to have tires put on. While I
was there they told my I needed new front brakes and
wheel bearing on drivers side. I told them to go ahead
and fix it. When they were done my abs light was on
and he told me he’d replace the sensor at no
additional cost. Get less than a mile down the road I
notice my mileage has disappeared from the dash,
average fuel, miles to E etc all those number are gone
and just show — dashes. I stop the car. Turn it off.
Start it back up. Numbers are there. Take off down
the road and they disappeared. Go back to the repair
shop and the guy at the front desk seems
flabbergasted. Tells me he doesn’t know why and
shouldn’t have anything to do with the work he did
but to bring it back Saturday. Also notice that after
driving 20 miles home that my mileage stayed the
same. So this morning I get in my car to go to work
and I notice my speedometer is also not working. I’m
planning on going back in this morning and
demanding some answers. I’d like some advice. Is
this some sensor issue they likely messed up?
