There's a cable with a plug on it and I can't figure out where it goes?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Can anyone tell me where this plugs into? Is it a sensor of some kind? It's located on the passenger side under the washer fluid level sensor. The plugs that go to the reservoir are already connected and there's this third connector that I have no idea where it goes. Any help is much appreciated.

You'll need to look around in the area of the plug for a receptacle. But the possibility exists that it doesn't plug into anything. If the plug is for an option that your vehicle doesn't have, then it doesn't plug into anything. My '93 Caprice had a plug for a power antenna and a low washer fluid light. My car had neither of these options so the plugs were literally just sitting there. I bought the car brand new so I knew it wasn't something a previous owner had added. Hope that helps! Jim
