I have a 87 blazer and I put a new motor in it but now it won't go over 35 mph

It was shifting just didn't seem like it was opening up it worked before then I worked on the timing bc the Rev was to high

Where did you set the timing at? Did you remove the est connector when you set it?

You need to set the timing at 0 with the connector unplugged. It's a little brown wire with a black tracer that has a connection in the middle of it.
