The car starts, but is stuck in park??

brake lights enable the actuator. check the 15A fuse. if you had an emergency, you could get the car out of park using the procedure outlined in the owners manual.

If your brake pedal activates the safety switch, check your linkage to the transmission to be sure it is secure and not loose at the transmission. Also your connections to the neutral safety switch.
