Our pontiac, 89 Grand Prix, 3.0 engine, is running hot
It is something on the right side looking straight into the front of the car.
there is something beside the engine, under that big hose (out hose that
goes into the block). It smokes & makes a clicking noise as it begins to cool
down when I cut the car off. The radiator is full of water, the windshield
water is full, and when it gets hot, the smoke comes out from under the
driver's side and it has a hot smell outside of the car. The thermastate was
recently replaced with a new one, that could have been a bad one I know,
and finally, the fans at the radiator wait to come on a long time to cool off
the radiator it seems to us which could contribute to the problem. It's been
going on now for about 3 weeks, and seems to be happening more often,
but I am still trying to drive it. Thank you for your help.
