my alternator is good but its not charging my system like no charge what so ever

my old alternator was bad so i got a new one i put it on and nothing so i say to
my self ok they gave me a bad one so i brought it back up there they tested it
is was a good one so i was like ok ill go and look at the wiring i checked it all it
was all good idk what to do know it just makes no sense i need help
