Not familiar with your particular model, but had a hopped up V8 in a Ford Torino back in the 70's. Would run for a while then die. Would not restart until it cooled off. Turned out being the ignition module box bolted to the fender well. Thinner than a cigar box, and just a little smaller. Had cooling fins on it for cooling. Mechanic told me when it failed, to pour cool water over it. If it restarted, change the module. That is what it was. Obviously something electronic, susceptible to heat.

Terminology is very critical here, when u say it doesn't crank, module has nothing to do at this point. does it turn over but it doesn't run or doesn't crank at all like a dead battery?
