MMy dad has a 1992 Ford straight 6 flare side and I know there is a safety switch on the clutch and he has to slam the clutch almost through the floor to get the truck started. How can he fix this and can it be adjusted. One friend told me and I saw it online another place that you can dissasemble it and wire it back together bypassing the safety switch. I need some advice on the best and or cheapest way to fix it. Thanks 5 Answers

I have a 1989 F/150 302, I am not getting power to the High Pressure fuel pump, I am not sure about the low pressure pumps power, I just replaced the saddle in-tank pump to no avail, I did remove the high pressure pump amd confirmed that it was working with 12 volt battery, I am not sure where to go from here, the truck has set for years and was given to me, I really want to get it runnung, does anyone have the quick fix? I have a 1977 ford f150 with a 351 engine in it. It dies sometimes and has trouble starting again, as if fuel isnt getting to the carborator. Thank you for your comments about my problem with my 1996 for f150, I checked to see if the fan clutch was able to move, it is very secure, there has been a new serpenteen belt put on. So still don't know what is causing the noise, happened one day after it was worked on. 1 Answer
