new solenoid replaced

Why were you replacing it? Never the less, make sure the fender wall is cleaned up to make a good ground connection for the solenoid. Still a problem after that, then need to check if there is power on the small wire to the solenoid when turning the key to the start position. If there is power there make sure your battery and battery connections are good. You should hear at least a clicking when you turn the key if there is power running to the solenoid when the key is in the start position.
Would that be the wire on top of the solenoid if it is bad how do I replace it also the battery tested good and the cables arein great shape I also got the solenoid and starter to work when I connected the large post on solenoid
Also I replaced it because one of the solenoid terminals come completely out of solenoid
The small wire is tied back to the ignition switch. If there is no power coming threw it when in the start position, then I'd be looking at the ignition switch, or the neutral safety switch. But if this had ben working until you found a problem with the solenoid, just try making sure the fender well is cleaned up good for grounding the solenoid.
Thanks I will get to it and see what happens you've been really helpful
