Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 1988 F150 xt cab 4wheel dr. The
truck starts and runs for a few minutes then
stalls. Its like its running outta gas. Could
this be the fuel pump shut off switch needs
to be reset.

does it start back up ? it's not the shut off switch it wouldn't run at all if that was tripped, some of those had 2 fuel pumps high and low pressure , I guess a pressure gauge would say if fuel pressure was the problem , could be the sending unit that comes with the pump

Cables to the spark are plugs so change them and clean your gas filter ...your welcome
