Runs but doesn't move

I have a 87 ford 150 4 speed straight 6 I was
driving down the road then all of a sudden my
speed was dropping and when I gave it gas it
would just rev up and won't drive bUT it starts no
problem

I take it you have an automatic transmission? Check the fluid level but it is probably shot. If it has a manual transmission then the clutch may be slipping.

You didn't say what trans. you have however it's probably the Transmission or the Clutch. Its is vaguely possible to be a differential or the drive line. There is usually a lot of noise if that's the case. Good luck and let us know what it is.
