Why is the truck does not crank but the solenoid just clicks

My 85 f 150 has a problem we're it does
not crank I turn the key and the  starter
solenoid just clicks and the power just cuts
off and then  A few seconds later then it
comes back on  I tested the starter it's
good and I tested the battery it's good
what else could it be ?

Check battery cables for corrosion and make sure they're tight. If cables are ok, bypass the starter relay located on the firewall, jump it with screwdriver
