1984 F-150, no start no click, replaced fender mounted solenoid, still no click no start. With a screwdriver, I can jump solenoid and start truck. Power to accessories still dims when key is turned to start, seems normal. What is my next step?

Check the electrical connections to the starter solenoid. You know the main wire to the starter works but the smaller wire going to the solenoid may not be providing enough power for the solenoid to work properly.

Well then you have narrowed it down. Trace it back to the ignition switch and see where the power fails.

Jumping the solenoid relay should bypass everything causing the starter to operate. Begin with your connections there and proceed to the starter/solenoid.

If it works when u bypass solenoid, then ur not getting a signal from ignition switch. Trace it back
